But, if your vehicle is modified, especially those that has installed high power auxilliary components, this is absolutely true. That is why, we must check the power demand of the vehicle at check if the alternator is a match to that demand.

High temperatures can increase the chemical activity inside the battery, which can cause it to lose water and electrolyte, and reduce its capacity and lifespan.
