By clearly defining client requirements, outlining features, breaking them down into tasks and subtasks, and setting a timeline.Which helped me to significantly reduce the chances of last-minute changes. This also helps set clear expectations for the team, minimizing confusion and keeping the project on track.

Planning before coding is definitely a must, but sometimes you can get lost in the planning. I certainly struggle with this at times. At some point you have to commit to a decision and learn to adapt around it, even if it ends up not being the optimal solution.

Agreed, this always happens with me whenever a new project is onboard! I would get lost, to a point where I should start and which part I should be developing first! I would usually start building inner pages of the website and leaving the homepage header and footer! I was always pinned down by my seniors about this approach! Then I had started planning that when you create HEADER and footer as a 1st milestone And homepage along with it. People immediately start liking it. As a matter of importance these 3 things are the utmost important things. Without these there won’t be website.

Cleaning your code is a must! Sometimes we use apps and there scripts or CDN for integration and later the apps are deleted but the CDN/ scripts remain which causes the website to slowdown! You should clear the errors appearing in console log! Scripts like jQuery JavaScript should be placed at the endpoint so they load in the end. Else they will decrease the performance of pages and user will be always waiting for the page to load! Remove empty lines also between the code.

Fail early and often. You won't know a system better unless you know how to fix it if it's broken. Hopefully not in a production environment.

To reflect and to improve my process after a project, I like to create a "lessons learned" document. I write down what went well, what didn’t, and what can be improved. It creates a record that I can reference at any time, so I don’t forget errors that I’ve made. It also helps me visualize everything quickly. You can use pen and paper, a Kanban board, or a template to create your own document.

In my opinion, " first you have to plan and design the probable outcome, then try to get that outcome , not a perfect result but somewhat level to result like outcome structure only at first sight. Then try styling, designing, modifying etc according to the final outcome. If you try to get final results at first sight, it would be difficult for beginners and consume lot of time and efforts. So, do step by step and this will be good practice."

Do not rely on external libraries too heavily, if its not to much time consuming code what you need by yourself. It gives you more flexibility in the future and much more reliable code. You control the braking changes if you need to make any. From my experience external libraries usually gives you solution for 90% of the problem then the 10% it won't solve becomes the most important. When it happens you waste a lot of time customizing or rewriting everything.

I wasted too much time wanting my code and design to be perfect. In terms of building something really cool, it takes a lot of mistakes from which you can learn to be better. Allowing myself to just my hands dirty and learning from there has always been more efficient than compared to first formulating the perfect design, having a great strategy while not writing a single line of code.
