Además de lo anterior, en latinoamérica es especialmente importante contemplar la posibilidad de que la plataforma funcione de forma offline dado que en muchos lugares la conectividad es deficiente. La plataforma de poder adaptarse al contexto institucional y no al revés.

Choosing the right digital platform is essential in order to meet learning needs of student's. And it shouldn't come at a very high cost interns of subscription renewal to the schools and so much data cost to students. Ensures that resources could be downloaded and used later to avoid excess data consumption. Also, it should be user-friendly and easy to understand but being age appropriate.

These days a lot of digital textbooks have capabilities that allow teachers to quickly assess and get a snapshot of where students are at. It’s not 100% accurate but is good enough to provide direction and then the teacher can use their own expertise and judgement to determine what students need

The challenge with using the digital textbooks for online discussion and other activities, most times, learners tend to spend lot of time on screen. In most cases, they tend navigate to other non-educational platforms all in the name of 'I have an online assignment. The question is how do we monitor students' activities online? This is a very challenging concern for working class mums.

Coming up with digital platforms that can be more relatively cheaper for students in the rural areas who may not have access to constant data, and making learning resources more downloadable for later use. Secondly, creating digital platforms that can limit or not allow students to navigate to other platforms. The challenge I have seen most learners complain of is simply " We have no data or its consuming so much data".Enabling an offline mode will go a long way in reducing the financial burden on parents.
