Creating video content is very common today and it can help a lot with landing the right job or a client. You can either talk about yourself, your projects or even having training / educational videos about what you do. Just keep in mind, the competition is large and content goes out-of-date easily, so focus on: - good English skills - good presentational skills - have a camera showing your face while talking (even in a part of the screen will work) - most importantly, know what you're talking about

Preparing for Web Development interviews is slightly different from preparing for regular interviews. Investigating the employer doesn't give you much benefits as they'll probably give you an introduction, best you can do is check out their website and a LinkedIn profile (if they have one). Focusing more on yourself can be much more rewarding, like cross-checking your knowledge, checking out a specific library or technology the company uses, especially little hidden tricks they might ask you about during the interview (such as Shadow DOM for React, multiprocessing with Node, aligning items vertically with HTML/CSS, etc.)

Here is what I’ve done, build a small app, not another Todo App but still something simple, deploy to Firebase (for free) and buy a custom domain. This has not just helped me remain competitive but also showcase these apps in interviews.
