In my experience, unsolicited feedback is more harmful than helpful. One rule when giving feedback in or from LMS should be that the learner is asked beforehand. Would you like to receive feedback? YES / NO And if the learner chooses yes, there should also be the option of contacting a tutor. In other words, a person to whom you can ask specific questions.

I'd encourage people to think carefully before using the LMS as a feedback tool. Not only are features typically pretty limited, but it's also rare that an LMS is where the actual learning is happening. While there may be times when a basic knowledge check or pulse survey makes sense to build into the system, robust feedback on skill application or behavioral change will rarely sit on the LMS. Now, you may opt to use LMS as the operational plumbing to manage that feedback, such as housing an immersive simulation or keeping all the pieces of the learning experience together in a single source of truth. However, that's a different application. In the end, I'd recommend you leave an LMS to do what it does best: manage learning objects.
