One thing I found helpful when preparing for repair calls is to check the history of the machine, also communication is the key to successful repair, communicate with the customer and get as much information as you can about the issue. For installation, it is always good to have two pre site visits before the installation, one to tell the customer the requirements, and find plans on how and where you will set up the machine. Second visit to make sure everything is ready before the machines arrive on site.
