once a junior of mine was not confident of participating in the hindi debate. I tried understanding her concern. She said she is not confident with hindi. I shared some videos, offered help and told she has the opportunity to contribute for the department. There is nothing to lose but huge opportunities to shine. she agreed to participate. When we show the directions to people how they can make meaningful change, it motivates them to take action. Tell them how he/she is the best person who can do it? We should not just go motivating. we should give them time to think on it. we should listen to them and address their concerns. we can use logics/reasoning/stats to show how taking the action is gonna benefit them. How can it be rewarding?
