don’t know if you play video games, but the first time in Skyrim VR when I came face to face real up close and personal with an enemy, it almost made me jump out of my seat! But how “real” it feels depends on the quality of the 360 degree photography as well as the resolution of your VR goggles or headset. And when you are surrounded on all sides including below, above, and behind your back by the environment and/or people you can get quite immersed. And this is only the first generation of realistic VR. The cheapest entrance into decent gaming VR would be via a PS4 console and a PSVR headset and the camera, together costing less than $600. If you already have either a PS4 or a powerful VR compatible PC then the cost of VR headset.

VR is not about graphics, it's about immersion. Tour focus should not be as much realism as possible but to make the world feel alive. Have tons of things that the user can interact with, remember they will look at ceilings amd around everything and most important, make the NPCs react to things accordingly. Remember, immersion over graphics when it comes to VR.

Branching story telling is a great way to enhance any game not just VR games but if the VR game can leverage the body language and the vitals to come up to the decisions for character that is what i will call a game that uses the device capabilities to take the games beyond

Not all games are great for VR or AR you need to understand if the game or the application you are trying to build even needs an AR or a VR setup will it take the most advantage of the tech being used Stick with the tech that the game needs by design do not try to force a technology on a game some experiences are meant to be experienced in balck and white (space impact ) others need color
