Yes, I can attest that collaborating with peers is an excellent way of keeping skills current. After countless years of using vi today I learned an additional keybinding to save and close a modified file buffer: "ZZ". Never needed it before but it is often beneficial to pay attention to experienced peers (old *nix fa##s) - this snippet of information could become useful some day.
