Listing fifteen individual words under the title, 'Skills', will not convince the reader that you actually have these skills. Rather, weaving in the same, carefully chosen (for that role/company) soft skills throughout your cover letter, resume and key selection criteria (if relevant), will help reinforce your case, especially when linked to a variety of examples. Highlight skills across all sections: I collaborated with 8 peers on a group assignment, we set up a WhatsApp to stay connected, did daily progress updates and weekly meetings, our clear communication and teamwork resulted in top marks. For the past three years playing basketball I have received the best passer award for effective passing, setting up team mates to score. Etc.
