The overall economy and demographic structure are important factors affecting the food and beverage market, because the consumer demand and the labor supply will significantly change the pricing and profit margin. In addition, consumers are increasingly paying attention to health and taste diversity, and the shortage of restaurants and beverages workers in chain stores has led to an increasingly obvious need for innovation in automation and artificial intelligence.

One reason for the pivot was that the price-point of snacks is generally too low for an e-commerce business model. With a basket value of <10$ you cannot profitably advertise, sell and ship a product. Given the higher priced cbd gummies, which were also lighter and smaller in volume (which decreased shipping cost), we could profitably sell online again.
