It's important to strike a balance—you want to be persistent enough to stay on their radar but not so much that you come across as overbearing. A single, well-crafted message is often sufficient. Totally agree with this approach and it works best after the written interview. Sending ur samples or maybe carrying them along with u if u are heading for oral interview makes it easy to explain ur achievements during the oral interview. I have done this severally and it has left recruiters amazed and has led to my recruitment . The samples could be a comms strategy that u developed, articles, multimedia content and etc.

It depends on whether the interview was the first one or the second or the final one. If it was the first, you can send a thank you note and a follow up note asking for the next steps. Don't be demanding! If it is a second or third interview, follow up with a piece of your work. The key here is to get them/ keep them interested and to keep them engaged.
