If we start with have those who design actually understand how to build it would make everything easier. If those who design actually had in site experience instead of a zoom call and never see the project, or understand the restraints and strengths of each site. They are all different in their own way and that can change how things operate. That is one thing our industry lacks. Just because it works on paper doesn’t mean it can come to life. If you want to build green then why don’t we use rain water for irrigation systems. The list goes on but it only comes from those who live and build these projects. Nobody ever asks the ones who have to do the actual work.

Planting can lower exterior temperatures, reduce urban heat island effects, and absorb airborne pollutants. But only if they have a sufficient volume of friable soil.
