I agree. One of the most impactful courses I've taken is 'CTT102: Creative Thinking: Techniques and Tools for Success' from Imperial College London. This course provided a comprehensive overview of various techniques and tools, including Brainstorming, Six Thinking Hats, Morphological Analysis, SCAMPER, and TRIZ. What I've realized is that there's no single technique or tool that universally fits every situation. The most effective strategy often involves combining these tools and techniques. Despite the diversity of methods covered, I found Brainstorming to be the most straightforward and accessible among them.

This approach helps counter colonial practices, ensuring everyone is heard, particularly introverts, shy people, and non-native English speakers. I establish ground rules for respectful and active listening and constructive feedback to create a welcoming space for all contributions. Acknowledging diverse inputs positively is crucial, but so is actively inviting quieter members to share their perspectives. By posing open-ended questions and enabling various forms of expression, I foster an inclusive environment, enriching discussions with various viewpoints and experiences.
