Adicional de las recomendaciones de Rocha, es importante considerar el mercado en potencia, mediano, corto y largo plazo, (a veces es mejor tener terreno extra) considerar almacenes secos en el caso de frigoríficos, son importantes para clientes multi temperaturas y maquila, productos a,b y c, alturas de bodegas y pallet, profundidades es decir rack drive in, selectivos por ejemplo, tipo de montacargas y sus flujos, numero de dock, stock de seguridad y sobre todo donde he visto que se equivocan mucho es en los crecimientos y futuros,(las operaciones se transforman en el tiempo) creo que también es bueno escuchar recomendaciones de los expertos, hoy la automatización y los ahorros sustentables, son muy muy importantes. Before designing the facility, defining the location, format of the plot, limitations in terms of high, flow of trucks, so on. The more expensive the land and labor, more automation should be considered as an option. After these considerations then you need to map out the flow of trucks and production coming in and out of the facility I order to define number of pallet positions, staging area, loading docks, VAS area, so on.
