What are the best ways to create user-friendly AI and blockchain interfaces?

The statements provided in this paragraph are pretty generic, perhaps generated by a basic AI tool! ?? Understanding requirements and crafting user stories are essential, but isn't that a given? The UI approach for these technologies must prioritize simplicity, instantly delivering value to users. AI is already leading in this aspect. I'm not just talking about ChatGPT. We've been integrating AI into major software platforms for over a decade. The challenge with blockchain is more profound. Unlike AI, blockchain is a more discontinuous, contrarian force in business and society. It carries the potential for a significant shift but also bears the responsibility of driving that transformation. Agree ?? or disagree ???

In the reactive approach to understand user needs and increase trust in AI we loose track that AI can be used to instill trust. We should start cultivating the power of generative AI to extrapolate and simulate data driven user needs and then find solution not only for current needs but also for future trends!

To simplify is not enough. What is needed is to make it disappear. No mention of AI or blockchain. Users don’t care as long as it does what it is supposed to do. When taking a plane I do not care about flight dynamics, algorithms in the background etc. I just want an uneventful flight that brings me from A to B.

This can be achieved by understanding the needs of your users through research and creating premade actions that automatically satisfy those needs. You can also limit customization to essential features to avoid confusing users and make the interface easier to use. Finally, based on my experience, one of the most important things for models that give probabilistic outputs is to translate the output into natural language to help users understand the output and make informed decisions.

Take decentralized identity as an example: it has the potential to revolutionize our interactions with the public sector and businesses. However, users must adopt digital wallets and companies to coordinate in novel ways. The main challenge of AI is Data security which is linked with transparency and control, that's where blockchain comes into picture Blockchain can track the entire lifecycle of data used by the AI application. Each data transaction, including its source, modifications, and usage, can be recorded on the blockchain. This traceability ensures transparency in data handling, allowing users to verify the authenticity and origin of the data used by the AI. Also users can have more control over their data by enabling them to maintain ownership of their data and grant explicit consent for its usage by AI applications.

Starting with AI can be a maze, especially in traditional settings. Start by mapping and appointing an AI rep from key sectors of the client's company such as: 1?? Sales 2?? Marketing 3?? Product 4?? Ops 5?? HR These convey the needs, wants and fears of each department. Process and Functionality Blueprint: 1?? Decision Logic: Clearly outline how AI choices are made. 2?? Data Clarity: Specify what data influences decisions. 3?? User Impact: Show how AI benefits or affects users. 4?? Feedback Channel: Allow users to rate AI decisions. 5?? I think AI and Blockchain don’t necessarily follow the same pattern. An application can have a super simple UI — whether or not blockchain is used underneath to store/ retrieve information. AI-based applications need to deal with uncertainty, predictions, and approximations. The need for giving a user context is much higher and it needs to make the user aware of constraints in case of decision-making. Blockchain does not have the same challenge.

Most of what needs to be done can be done by existing technologies. Focus on applications that cannot be done (or done well) through existing approaches. Don’t try to replace perfectly well existing solutions with a blockchain version. Ensure there’s real added value.
