Hi Gentlemen and madam. WMS is a tool to measure on line transactions of any warehouse on real time basis with respect to receipts , storage , inventory and Picking , FIFO , and system transactions and it really gives wonderful outcome . The accuracy of WMS is only helpful to the customer when it gets integrated with their own system LIKE SAP , ERP ,oracles and other Software ware being used . If it is not integrated with customer software there is no befits for the organization and customer as well. The biggest challenge is customers acceptance for the WMS as they are already getting all useful information's from their own software so lot of debits on this . I am talking with respect to 3 PL services providers point of view .

En todas las operaciones existen métricas. Debes separar y reportar en un 1 solo tablero de control aquellas que son importantes para el negocio como Exactitud de inventario, nivel de servicio, órdenes completas y a tiempo o costo general de la operación y dejar las operativas en objetivos funcionales.

J'ai notamment contacté que la plupart des entreprises ont du mal a trouver une politique Lifo ou Fifo car elles ont pas la ma?trise des flux des marchandises et font face à la TVA .

Reports and dashboards are best form of analyzing any data but making excel reports is now a tedious task. Power BI tool or any other AI tool can help this in a much better and simpler way, can publish the reports as and what we require, we just need to write a code for once.

You can follow your industry's best practice from time to time to identify which areas are lacking or need improvements and which areas are well performing. If you just started with your WMS and don't have a baseline, the number would be a starting point. While if you have your own baseline, you can check whether there is a better approach that you could employ or you can share to others.

Algumas vezes vejo planos de a??o fantásticos no papel. Mas que, devido a complexidade, n?o s?o implementados. Por isso, minhas sugest?es s?o uma boa análise de causa e efeito e, a??es simples e diretas, em cima das principais causas.

WMS usually runs on trial and error basis when it is installed, because system needs time for stabilization and WMS is a standard product but it varies from company to company and industry to industry. So, when system is on trial mode, all the reports are studied properly, and daily modifications are being made in the system so as to align to our requirements. Once, it is done, then system needs to be left on Stealth mode as it is capable enough to handle the operations.

The WMS should have the flexibility of adding new "Rules" that help calculate the back data that is being run to generate reports

Luego a tomar acciones correctivas, en caso de tener una desviación con respecto a los objetivos. Ahora si los datos se encuentran alineados, se pueden implementar otros objetivos que incrementen la productividad y rentabilidad de la organización

Siempre considera que el WMS es una herramienta que debe liberar recursos, facilitar manejo de datos y tareas de alto volumen y proveer información a otros sistemas o módulos de gestión que dependen de la calidad de los datos iniciales y los datos de cada día (entradas - salidas). Asegura puntos de control en cada jornada para revisar y ajustar desviaciones y no acumules errores por largos periodos.
