People will use something they are invested in, fits in their workflow, and is easy to use and add to. I’ve seen plenty of KBs go unused because it’s a weird system. Or because it’s outside of the normal ticket program. Or they don’t feel like opening sharepoint or onenote because they simply don’t use those tools on a regular basis. It becomes ‘out of sight, out of mind’ in that case.
