Given it's market share, being familiar or owning a Trados Studio license is as necessary as having a MS Office license. When it existed, I read The Translator's Toolkit to stay abreast of the latest translation software offerings. From what I recall, really appreciated some of the features available via the Transit software. Personally, I really appreciate the option to use MT with the client's approval for rush projects.
