Working in cybersecurity can be stressful. I use a Pomodoro timer to create focus time followed by some time to recover. I don’t use the clock on my phone because that makes me distracted (because I wind up checking messages on my phone ). I have a little separate timer that lets me pick different time intervals , for example 30 minutes, and then I take a 10 minute break. Eating right and getting exercise and especially getting outdoors and getting some sunlight are critically important for long-term productivity so don’t overlook that. The focus time lets me actually get a lot done because I’ll only work on one thing, ignore everything else, and then move onto the next thing.
