It is highly effective to also establish proper duration of meetings, allot “travel time” before and after external meetings, utilize cancellations for “Administrative Time”, and ensure that there is transitioning time from one meeting to another. Also, outside of regular business hours be flexible for receiving calendar changes, it not initiated be your executive, make them aware asap.

This is extremely important in our ever-changing world and it is necessary to stay relevant. Look for new programs or resources to better serve your executives. Most helpful is to utilize programs in their “selected packages”. (G-Suite, Microsoft 365, etc). It’s not only cost effective but it’s helpful in keeping documents, files, projects in progress secure, builds a resource base and keeps you as a valuable asset!

Another thing that is most helpful is to vet your executive! I have a Executive Profile form I utilize in the beginning to get most all the vital information I need to serve them, but then I do my own research to make sure I’m aware of what is important to them in the community, the business industry they are in, etc. So yes, follow them on social media!!! It’s one of the best ways to establish rapport and build your relationship with them. Be mindful of what you say/comment because it’s “their social media platform”. Yet you can congratulate, support business initiatives and share to reach more customers to help the community more aware of services provided.
