One thing i have found helpful is that Learning objective should be interesting ,sound catchy and if possible with some fun elements to grab attention of students.

An example i have seen which works good for me is using FLIP classtoom method in which child is the teacher and students and their peers are students.it inculcates confidence and also helps in identifying students leaening gaps.

Jn my view assessing on basis of rubrics with multuple parameters works good in this case.it helps to analyse data syatematically
