My thoughts: Don’t record. Especially if your administrators are using it as a tool for your PLC. It’s not really a tool. Your best insight into your teaching skill set is the response from peers and students, even if it’s just the one or two kids that speak up at random. We know what it looks like when the light bulbs flip on. We know when they stay off, too. Differentiate your lessons, give your kids ownership, and listen. No recording needed.

I wonder what barriers to implementation would exist for a teacher to implement this practice? Of the services I offer teachers video coaching results in the deepest growth and is the most resisted.
