However, this is traditionally easier said than done, as the forecast error drivers are well upstream of the distribution center operations. Therefore the more focus that can be paid to translating business requirements and plans into more accurate multi-horizon operational forecasts, sets the operation up for success. And ensures you have adequate distribution center capacity to support business needs across several time horizons.
