One thing I see missing is the equity and inclusivity factor, which is critical for remote employees. Yes, it's important to create opportunities for feedback to be provided, but it's also important for remote employee voices to be featured and share their unique perspective, whether that communication is a newsletter, video, email, panel, etc. From the start when drafting a communication plan, think about how you'll include remote employees as part of the actual communications, not just when looking at post-communications metrics, like surveys.

Internal communication is not a static process. Continue to monitor and evaluate your communication efforts, and adjust them as needed. Collect and analyze data, such as open rates, click-through rates, response rates, satisfaction scores, and engagement metrics, to measure the impact of your communication.
