By answering these questions, you can create a clear and compelling vision for your mentorship program and communicate it to your stakeholders.

I would typically agree, as any operational program needs a clear objective. However, when it comes to mentorship, the rules are different. Mentorship is a personal and individual process that requires the mentor and the mentee to share an undescribable connection to one another. Mentorship is not a step-by-step process on educating somebody on how to solve a problem. It’s a sharing of wisdom that often times has nothing to do with the problem at hand but it shapes the thinking process of the mentee through discussion and sharing of experiences leading to a series of decisions by the mentee reflecting the mentors’ wisdom. Due to this esoteric role If you assign the team a specific objective, they may miss the entire value of the mentorship.

Basically I agree with this article but there are things that need to be added regarding the human resources that will run it. Not everyone is equipped with the skills to educate and ultimately create new leaders. There needs to be a search for who is suitable to run, detailed criteria need to be made, along with the stages and process.
