Every topic in every subject has a different subject to be taught . It can't be judged as a whole . It depends upon the need of the topic and the skills of teachers . Learning by doing Show and tell Skits Jokes Examples Videos Lectures, explanations , group work, workshops , field trips all are very important teaching strategies. Every teacher must try to adjust these strategies throughout the year at least once . For example if a history teacher designs her syllabus according to these she can make history quite interesting. One trip to the museum/ historical building, class presentation/ role skit of the greatest leaders/ movie of war and so on .. Nowadays the students and even teachers get bored of the same old style of schooling.
