What are the best online platforms and tools to create and share your portfolio as a teacher?

Creating a personal website or blog is a great way to share your teaching portfolio. You can use platforms like WordPress, Wix, Google Sites, etc., to build a professional-looking website to showcase your teaching philosophy, lesson plans, student work samples, and testimonials from colleagues or supervisors. Having a personal website also allows you to customise the design and content of your portfolio according to your preferences. You can include your portfolio link on your CV, LinkedIn and other social media platforms like X, Facebook page, Telegram channel, etc.

Something I find helpful is to have one presentation ally ready copy and to have a working copy. Treat it as you would any resume. Take care to make these living documents. When you teach and gain insight into something that works or something you see and want to make changes add it asap. Also, keep a journal of your insights for yourself and this is also helpful in case of any IP issues. I record many of these in my notes but, also in journals. Nothing beats a good black-and-white book.
