For example, a hyperlink in a social media post is a CTA as it takes the user from the social media platform to your website to purchase a product for example. CTAs can be more than just hyperlinks however, consider engagements (ie: Asking the social media user to make a comment) or video views.

"Sign up / Download" works when you are buying click or landing page view or even conversion. Coming from B2B, obviously the customer journey are usually longer thus leading for a need of less aggressive CTAs.

Avoid vagueness. Be clear about what users should do. Steer clear of generic CTAs like "Click Here." Instead, be specific and compelling. For instance, "Unlock Exclusive Access" or "Discover More Now!"

Make it easy to take action: Don't make your audience work too hard to find out how to take action. Make sure it's easy to see and click on.
