1 Engineered materials arrestor system

An engineered materials arrestor system (EMAS) is a bed of crushable concrete blocks installed at the end of a runway. It is designed to stop an aircraft that overshoots the runway by absorbing its kinetic energy and slowing it down. EMAS can reduce the risk of serious damage and injury in case of an overrun, especially at airports with limited runway space or terrain constraints. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), EMAS has successfully stopped 15 overruns in the US since 1999.

Implementar sistemas de frenado más avanzados que permitan una mayor eficacia en la reducción de la velocidad de las aeronaves durante el aterrizaje. Dise?ar y construir pistas de aterrizaje y despegue con longitudes adecuadas y dise?os optimizados. Instalar sistemas de monitoreo en tiempo real que detecten condiciones peligrosas en la pista, como acumulación de agua, hielo o contaminación, y proporcionen advertencias tempranas a los pilotos y controladores de tráfico aéreo. Aplicación de procedimientos de aterrizaje y despegue estandarizados. Actualizar la iluminación de la pista para mejorar la visibilidad y la orientación de los pilotos durante el aterrizaje y el despegue, especialmente en condiciones de baja visibilidad.

La clave, pistas más largas. Así, se reduce la presión sobre campos de aterrizaje cortos, así como aliviar el sobrepeso que soporta la pista al momento de hacer contacto la nave sobre la misma.

2 Runway status lights

Runway status lights (RWSL) are a system of red and green lights embedded in the runway pavement that indicate its occupancy and availability. They are controlled by a surveillance system that detects the presence and movement of aircraft and vehicles on the runway and its vicinity. 3 Runway overrun prevention system

A runway overrun prevention system (ROPS) is a software feature that calculates the landing performance of an aircraft based on its speed, weight, configuration, and environmental conditions. It also compares the required landing distance with the available runway length and warns the pilot if there is a risk of an overrun. ROPS can help pilots adjust their approach and landing procedures or initiate a go-around if necessary. ROPS is available on some Airbus and Bombardier aircraft models and is being developed for other types.

4 Runway end safety area

A runway end safety area (RESA) is a cleared and graded area beyond the end of a runway that provides a buffer zone in case of an overrun. It is intended to reduce the severity of damage and injury by minimizing the impact of obstacles and terrain. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recommends that airports have a RESA of at least 150 meters long and as wide as the runway. Si bien es cierto las áreas extra de pista ,RESA, son según la OACI lo "RECOMENDABLE", se debe recomendar también a los fabricantes de aeronaves que las hagan con sistemas de frenado mas pronto y seguro. Los cambios de tecnología también ayudaría en pistas que por limitantes de espacio físico no le permite contar con un área RESA.

5 Continuous descent approach

A continuous descent approach (CDA) is a flight procedure that allows an aircraft to descend from cruise altitude to the runway in a smooth and gradual manner, without leveling off or changing speed. It reduces the need for engine thrust and braking, which can lower fuel consumption, noise, and emissions. CDA can also improve runway safety by reducing the chances of unstable approaches, which can result in overruns or go-arounds. Ideal para la aviación, es que todas las pistas sean y aseguren despegues y aterrizajes seguros, es lo Ideal pero No lo Real. Lo cierto, es que cada vuelo no es igual al anterior, por mas parecidas que sean las circunstancias. Es por ello, que las habilidades aunado a la experiencia de la tripulación permite un vuelo suave, seguro y con deseos de repetirlo.

En el presente panel se destaca la visión puesta sobre los campos de aterrizaje, aeródromos. Lo que debe ver la entidad que regula los mismos, OACI -ICAO dependiendo su lectura hispana o anglosajona, es promover la proliferación de pistas en mayor numero en América latina , ya que Europa, le saca casi un 400% de diferencia en numero a los primeros en mención. La OACI, es capaz de ajustar esta alargada diferencia, capital humano y económico lo posee, al parecer le falta el capital de la "VOLUNTAD". Con derecho a no equivocarme en mi comentario.
