Leads at odds is similar to politics. Likely there are 2 camps, let’s say red and blue. Just like politics, each is entrenched, so facilitating a “debate” should be #1 on this list. I would facilitate a debate where they each present the bases for their position and the rationale for rejecting the opposition. It has to be candid and to the point. Dancing around just wastes time. Once I had a project team arguing over design basis that potentially affected the cost/sched. I got team together and gave them 1hr to present both positions then made a decision based on most logical solution. Then I instructed the team to either win or fail as one, including me. BTW, I included even junior members of the team to help them learn as well.
