Refining goals, Automating tasks and making use of Open-source tools are all very crucial but sometimes it’s just not enough. We often end up in situations where extra set of helping hands becomes inevitable in order to accomplish the tight testing deadlines. This is where ‘Whole Team Approach’ to testing massively helped our team. Quality is not individual’s responsibility. Only when team(s) collectively works towards achieving quality it is attainable. In this approach, Dev and Test team colloborated on testing the functionalities. BDD based Test framework was developed in a way where anyone could code. Test team was responsible for framing the test cases and Dev team supported in automating those step definitions. Real team work!

What worked for me: Prioritize critical test cases and leverage automation for repetitive tasks. This helps maximize efficiency and maintain quality without overextending resources. Most importantly: Collaboration is key! Foster open communication with your team to share insights and strategies that can alleviate pressure.
