Empresas que possuem vendas sazonais durante o ano buscam maximizar os seus estoques antes do aparecimento dos picos de demandas, contrariando os princípios do Lean. Elas n?o podem ampliar a sua capacidade produtiva para atender apenas esses períodos, pois na baixa demanda os recursos ficar?o ociosos e o custo do manter ou desfazer poderá ser alto. uma alternativa é gerenciar os estoques corretamente com o método KANBAN e o FIFO para que o primeiro excedente estocado na baixa demanda seja o primeiro a sair na alta demanda, além é claro, do gerenciamento do SMED na produ??o.

Hi everyone, most companies are facing with high inventory problem. One of the common cause is “ Over Production “. They produced products more than what the customer need. They did this just to keep their machine running and fill up their available capacity. All products produced cannot be shipped out 100% , as a result, the inventory level increase rapidly and the entire production areas will become a mess. Hence the first thing company need to do is Stop and Eliminate this waste. They should always MTO- Make to Order not MTS- Make to Stock
