I work on documentaries so the way I film and edit is different from the planning in fiction filmmaking, however, as anyone knows who makes documentaries, you still need to think about your shot list for the edit. Here is a short story. I was going to film a friend, Stanley Lewis, a Montreal sculptor in his studio.
