In my opinion, aligning IT with business goals requires that IT be seen as a strategic partner, not just as support. This demands a collaborative effort to define metrics that truly matter to the business and integrate IT into high-level discussions. Another key point is transparency in communication between teams, ensuring that everyone understands how their actions impact the final outcome. Adopting agile methodologies allows IT to stay flexible and responsive to changing needs. Regular reporting and transparency further strengthen trust and ensure both IT and business are working toward common goals.
