When I'm going to gather input about these conflicting feedback pieces, I am going to try and bring everyone into the room together (not ms teams or zoom) but into the room physically - I want to get these things on the table right away and make sure its transparent and the impact of these conflicting views is recognized - and if I'm empowered as I should be, I will make the decision and explain what data drove the decision and how that impacts or is related to the feedback - its not easy to do, it's both tough logistically and mentally to do it this way, but if you do it once, you are planting your flag and thats something that gives you a foundation for the future
