Virtualization can occur in subleased infrastructure, such as cloud computing, which creates new security challenges, since the typical perimeter solution is not sufficient. So I recommend adopting a more comprehensive approach that ensures security by identifying each of the users and computers to obtain traceability regardless of where the connection comes from. There are several solutions in the market that facilitate this fact even achieving traceability of teleworking users.
