Any delay in completing any of these activities would lead to pushing the overall completion of the project. Other activities not falling on critical path though have varying degree of float but if not monitored may become critical subsequently as the float is eaten away. That’s the scheduling part that most planners study/learn/acquire by experience. The most important is how to plan, how to assure to add the right sequence. I have seen heaps of schedules with disastrous links, unlogical relationships and using lags and leads just to fix dates. In my point of view these schedules are only good to take the dates that the project team most probably wanted to fix then build a proper schedule around it. These schedules can not and should not be used for monitoring.

Antes de plasmar cualquier frente, partida, tarea u subtarea debemos tener bien planeado y analizado el proyecto. Es necesario que conozcamos no nada más los tiempos de ejecución, con sus rendimientos y por ende, con sus volúmenes correspondientes, sino también los tiempos de entrega en aquellas tareas que implican eso: plantas de emergencia, subestaciones eléctricas, equipos especiales, etc, de tal manera que las tareas que anteceden a la ejecución se logren llevar a cabo en tiempo y forma para que todo llegue a tiempo para su correcta fabricación, traslado e instalación en el sitio. Entonces, el alcance total, así como el periodo de ejecución debe ser tomado en cuenta en cada tarea para que el proyecto se ejecute

La trilogía de gestión se enfoca en recursos tiempo y costos, mientras más información se tenga en esos temas el riesgo disminuye

Recordemos que plasmar una calendarizacion de cada actividad a ejecutar, es el último paso tras haber realizado su adecuada planeación. Entonces, los beneficios redundan en lecciones aprendidas con el paso de los proyectos como tales para la documentación de l proyecto como tal y de todos los usuarios involucrados. Jamás se debe sacrificar la calidad por el tiempo, ni mucho menos por el costo, entonces estas tres variables deben ser consideradas antes de plasmar con su debido presupuesto y revisiones, para que en la práctica todo tienda a salir como se planeó.
