One thing that has helped me here is to use my audience's words. I'm in the financial industry, so there are terms that the pro's know but my audience may not. I make sure to use the same phrases and words that my audience uses so that they can understand the content and relate with it.

When new to a platform I have found it very helpful to set aside some time after I post to respond to comments. An effective growth hack is to respond to EVERY comment while you can. This strategy helped me grow to over a million followers across platforms. You can respond with appreciate for their comment or clarification questions to further the discussion. When followers see you engaging in the comments they are more likely to engage themselves. Not only does it help build a sense of community, it will boost your post and widen your reach.
