It's our responsibility as recruiters to offer transparent and consistent feedback to our candidates post-interview, enabling them to continue their personal and professional development. On the other hand, candidates can offer us invaluable insights, indicating areas for potential improvement in our selection process. Who better to provide advice than someone who has personally experienced the selection process? We should actively promote and encourage candidates to share their impressions, for instance, by sending them post-interview surveys.

I will use feedback to enhance our technical recruiting processes by gathering insights from candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers through surveys and discussions. Analyzing this feedback will help improve candidate experience and interview effectiveness. I will refine job descriptions for clarity and adjust interview approaches to reduce confusion. Prioritizing effective communication, I will keep candidates informed throughout the hiring process. Continuous training for interviewers will focus on improving evaluation techniques. I have always been shocked at how many candidates respond to surveys after they have interviewed, regardless of whether they are selected or not. A short assessment sent out after a candidate meets with interviewers (not recruiters) can provide you loads of information on your interview process as well as the interviewers themselves.

With any Applicant Tracking System I am about to put in place, I will always ensure there is a survey system within the system to auto send surveys out once the recruiting process has been completed in any way shape of form. In my opinion, feedback should be in a way focusing on the positives of the consultant and and how is it differring from the role we are hiring for and keeping them posted with the suitable roles will help company to gain the trust of the employees and consultans as well.
