This is something we currently do, this can be done at the beginning of the project as well as at the end. We do not currently do this during construction, but on large phased projects this would be useful. I'm not sure how AI can help with this.

I am not sure this paragraph has any real use or meaning??? I don’t think “machine learning” really has any use or relevance here (sounds cool though). You can use AI for quality assurance checks by capturing as-built data and images and comparing it with with the building information model to discover missing elements such as outlets, switches or sleeves.

To further enhance AI-driven as-built drawing digitization, I will consider implementing several things. 1st is utilize semantic segmentation algorithms, improving the accuracy of digitization. 2nd is implement NLP to interpret documents construction, aiding in a more comprehensive digitization process. 3rd is employ GANs for generating realistic building features, optimizing the completion of obscured details in digitized drawings. 4th is combine AI automation with human expertise, creating systems enhancing the overall efficiency and accuracy of digitization. 5th is integrate AI to analyze building features for energy efficiency and environmental impact, providing valuable insights for sustainable construction practices.
