How do you update your web app to meet user demands?

I would say the basic thing is knowing what they want to achieve and secondary, how they are currently doing it. These 2 are the most important components before moving into or making a strategy for the WEB App. As you would need to incorporate their existing workflow into the new system so that the ACCEPTIBILITY of the NEW WEB App is much higher by the employees/Users, which in turn leads to the successful implementation of the new updates in the web app and a happy client.

In my experience you should not be doing this by yourself, but consult with others - design the update that you intend to make and discuss your design with others. This way you can find “bugs” in your original design. You should also meet with stakeholders and make sure that the design fits their needs and schedule. Try to limit a single update to a minimum - this way when requirements change (as they often do) less work will go to waste.

In my experience for larger updates you often need to consider the order of your deployment as well, since the update may involve modifying several systems that rely on one another.
