In my experience, i do an assessment to compare the number of update points in the documentation. i also do an impact assessment of the updates on the existing Production environment. Then i make a staging process for high impact updates

Hi guys, This is an example of why engineers should do engineering and not documents. As a document writer we cannot assess if z document is out of date, only an SME can identify where the changes are required. The Tech Author manages the docs, adopts changes where required while maintaining consisrency.
