According to my comprehension we really do have norms with us for QA practically in all areas/ activities, here how we can plan this will be the trciky point in inquire. In my opinion one should begin by comprehensively researching industry standards, understanding the products, and bench marking against successful competitors. Assess his available resources, identify industry-specific risks, and invest in team training. Stay updated with industry trends and seek guidance from experts. Before full-scale implementation, conduct pilot tests and establish a feedback loop for continuous improvement. By following these key steps, one can tailor his QA strategy to meet his industry demands, drive quality, and maintain a competitive edge and finally be able to choose specific and right QA methods and techniques.

At this stage be careful not to get caught into the rabbit hole of chasing tools here and there. Your choice of tools would rely on your projects needs. That is, list your needs then translate each need to a function. Then, mark mandatory ones for you and nice-to-have ones. Now search for tools having such functions you deem as must. Methods, on the other hand, are critical since they involve people. In such case, choose methods that align with your culture.
