In order to use ScriptSync, you need to have Avid Media Composer installed on your computer and a digital copy of your script in PDF, TXT, or DOC format. In addition, you need to import your video clips into your project bin and ensure they have audio tracks. After that, you can follow these steps: first, open your script in Avid Media Composer and pick Script > Script Settings to adjust the settings according to your preferences. Then, select Script > Analyze Script to scan the script and recognize the dialogue lines, scene headings and transitions. You can review and edit the analysis results if needed. After that, select the video clips you want to sync with the script and drag them to the script window. Avid Media Composer will analyze the audio tracks of those clips and match them with the dialogue lines in the script. You can also adjust the sync accuracy and tolerance settings if needed. Once the sync process is complete, you can see the video clips linked to the script lines in the script window. You can double-click on any clip to load it into the source monitor or drag it to the timeline. Furthermore, you can use the script window for navigation, marking, or editing your clips.
