Comparison is not your enemy. You need this to know what quality you want to reach, to set yourself a goal. When you compare your work to someone else's, it should be used to understand what you need to improve rather than diminishing your efforts. Don't be too harsh on yourself, every mistake bring you more knowledge, you need to do them to understand. To set realistic expectations, you need to set a realistic goal. One step at the time

Try to find as much time for personal projects as possible. Following structured courses or tutorials is very valuable because we all need to learn fundamentals and gather tools that we will use later on, but diving into projects of your dreams is what will keep you hyped up and hungry for more learning. What i like to do is to jump into a project that is just a bit beyond my reach. But one that i really want to do. And then look for answers to solve my problems on the way. This way you will do what you like but learn something new everytime.

There are so many ways to stay motivated in the 3D world, when I started my journey as a 3D artist I found artist like sefki Ibrahim, kris costa, j hill, vahid ahmadi, these guys are my inspiration, I try my best to make quality works like they do, it’s not easy but that’s what the grind is all about consistency is key. There’s a saying “The greatest education in the world is watching the masters at work” by Michael Jackson, and this is absolutely true cause it’s serve as a source of inspiration and motivation, then there’s this drive that comes out and you tell yourself I want to be like kris or sefki or vahid.
