When it comes to wireless communication, simulation can help engineers evaluate the performance and feasibility of different wireless technologies and standards, compare and optimize various modulation, coding, and encryption schemes, study the effects of channel characteristics such as bandwidth, noise, interference, and fading, design and test wireless network architectures, protocols, and algorithms, troubleshoot and debug wireless devices and software, as well as demonstrate and visualize wireless concepts and phenomena.
