Do the following: First generate a "picture" of what the outcome looks like. Second, establish a commitment to carry forth on the plan. Rate degree of success each day, e.g. 0,1,2,3,4,5. Record and chart success rating each day.

We produce long, drawn out presentations, rather than actually show colleagues how these teachers successfully implement the universal design for learning. One quick win for professional development sessions can be a round robin school staff meeting. This is where each teacher prepares a single slide and leaves it on their class whiteboard or smart screen. All school staff, then walk from classroom to classroom and look at the single slide teachers have prepared. The slide can include photos, videos, text, or other media, to showcase their successful implementation of UDL.

Perhaps the most challenging aspects of leading learning and development opportunities for teachers is helping school staff, ensure long-term efficacy of the strategies you introduce.
