In my experience, negotiating a salary increase or promotion with your current employer requires careful preparation, effective communication, and a focus on mutual benefit. Begin by researching and understanding the market value of your skills and experience. Remember to keep factors like location and years of experience into your research. The same position may claim a higher salary in large urban markets than in small satellite offices. And established forms can generally afford to pay more than newer, smaller ones.
