I have found that mentioning things that have gone right or are still right also helps. This keeps the team focussed, especially when you have perfectionists in the team.

As I have observed over the years, there are tasks and responsibilities assigned to individual roles to complete. However, we experience more gaps in accomplishing the tasks when it comes to shared responsibilities among the employees across the hierarchy. If the problem is repetitive, root cause analysis needs to be performed to identify the shortcomings. As a leader of the department or the company we should include all levels of staff in decision making through participative leadership. This is essential to not to single out any individual for the gaps, this helps to keep the confidence within the team and gives them the opportunity to grow as a group and also as an individual.
